Keeping in mind that I grew up in Bowie,
I have always thought of Wichita Falls as a big city.
When I was a little kid, coming to Wichita Falls
was a very big deal. The trip seemed to take longer back then,
with at least a couple of "are we there yets" along the way.
A trip would include a trip to Parker Square for
shopping and Underwood's for lunch.
