Opening of River Bend's
Pioneer Experience
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 8, River Bend Nature
Works, at the entrance to Lucy Park. Includes tours through the
exhibit, demonstrations from a flint knapper and blacksmith, barbershop
quartet music, fiddle players, buffalo soldiers, rides in a buckboard
wagon, pioneer arts and crafts. $5 for adults and $3 for children
3-12. The exhibit will be open to the public beginning Sept. 11

Evening with the Stars
At 7 p.m. Sept. 11, Wichita Falls Museum and Art

of the month, the museum will present a live planetarium show,
